Roles & Responsibilities

A client of ours is running an end-to-end regulatory capital aftercare program following the implementation of Basel IV (CRR3).


 


They are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support this regulatory capital program and contribute to data-driven analysis, coordination, and advisory activities across Finance, Risk, Business, Data, and IT.


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Support a regulatory capital program with a focus on Risk Weighted Assets (RWA).

  • Perform data analysis, including ad-hoc data extractions from Risk and Finance data sources to support RWA calculations and controls.

  • Coordinate data collection initiatives and support business stakeholders in this process.

  • Contribute to methodological solutions related to RWA (e.g. treatment of collaterals) and support the follow-up of their implementation.

  • Contribute to data quality assessments and remediation initiatives impacting regulatory capital calculations.

  • Perform functional, regulatory, and process analysis across the end-to-end capital chain.

  • Coordinate one or more sub-projects, ensuring alignment between Risk, Finance, Corporate Banking, Data, and IT teams.

  • Translate regulatory, business, and risk requirements into functional specifications and implementation guidelines.

  • Support program governance activities, including planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, and reporting.

  • Provide ad-hoc advisory support to management across different domains.


 

Profile


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking sector.

  • Good expertise in Regulatory Capital and RWA frameworks (CRR/CRD, Basel).

  • Proven experience in business analysis and coordination or PMO roles on regulatory programs.

  • Solid understanding of Risk, Finance, and business processes.

  • Banking business knowledge, with front-office or client-facing exposure considered a plus.

  • Strong data analysis capabilities, including data extractions and analysis using SQL or equivalent tools.

  • Ability to work independently in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Excellent documentation, structuring, and communication skills.

  • Languages: ENG + FR/NL
