We are looking for a skilled consultant to support the deployment of a solution developed in the context of the introduction of the new Belgian capital gains tax. This mission will focus on ensuring the quality and compliance of the solution delivered by a core banking system vendor against predefined business and regulatory requirements.

The consultant will join a tax operations team in Brussels and play a key role in the testing phase of the implementation, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the solution


• Validate the solution’s compliance with defined business and regulatory requirements


• Identify, document, and follow up on defects and inconsistencies


• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, IT, Front Office, Finance, and external vendor


• Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting


• Support knowledge transfer and ensure proper understanding of processes and requirements


• Participate in onboarding and training on systems, processes, and requirements during the initial phase

• Proven experience in UAT coordination and execution within financial services


• Strong knowledge of Belgian tax regulations, particularly related to financial transactions and securities


• Experience in banking environments; exposure to core banking systems is a plus


• Ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented manner with strong analytical skills


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


• Fluent in English and at least one Belgian national language (French or Dutch)


• Available for an on-site role in Brussels


• Availability to start in April for a mission of 3 to 6 months
